E3 2023 Dates

E3 is set for an in-person return in 2023. The organizers have announced that the expo will return for a physical experience in 2023.

In June 2023, E3 will return in person for the first time since 2019. There will be separate spaces and days for business and consumer events at the event. There will be two days for the general public and three for exclusive business professionals only. The event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, as is customary.

Shortly after the COVID-19 outbreak hit the US in 2020, E3 canceled all of its events. There were plans to return to the live format in 2021. However, the continued pandemic led E3 to also suspend its in-person activities and hold a streaming-only Expo. Many fans were disappointed with the online format due to the numerous issues with its online format. Fans blamed Twitch's DMCA regulations for barring some important content from the key showcases.

E3 2023 Dates

E3 will take place in Los Angeles from June 13 to June 16. Then E3 Business Days will take place from June 13–15. Business days will only be open to registered industry members for networking, meetings, and other activities. The media will have access to and play upcoming games in designated, industry-only areas, such as one side of the LACC. E3 Gamer Days will take place separately from the industrial area in the other half of the LACC. E3 Gamer Days are the public section of the event and will take place on June 15 and 16. Players will be able to interact with developers and content producers. They will also get hands-on experience with the same upcoming games.

The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) will organize E3 2023 together with Reedpop. Reedpop has previously organized events such as Star Wars Celebration, PAX, and New York Comic-Con.
