 on

Black Friday is well underway, and it's bringing more gaming deals than ever before, with slashed prices on consoles, accessories, and more exclusive games than you could shake a stick at. The Xbox Series X|S, for example, has its fair share of fantastic deals, with some of the latest games coming loaded with up to 67% off price tags. And that's just the icing on the cake.

From today until Wednesday 30th, Xbox users can pick up well over 100 games that span the Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S timeline. If you're curious to know which bundles have piqued our interest, though, then read on.

5. South Park: The Stick of Truth & The Fractured But Whole Bundle

South Park: The Fractured But Whole: Official Launch Trailer | Ubisoft [NA]

Fans of Trey Parker and Matt Stone are in for one monster of a treat this Black Friday, thanks to Ubisoft bundling up both The Stick of Truth and The Fractured But Whole RPGs for $23. So, if you're one for ludicrously entertaining, albeit highly controversial content with zero filters to boot, then it's most definitely a collection worth forking out for — more so due to it being optimized for Xbox Series X|S.

Both South Park chapters serve as loose RPGs set in the center of the chaotic Colorado mountain town, tales in which you assume the role of the new kid on the block as factions collide and South Park transforms into the world's biggest playground. With Cartman, Stan, Kyle, and Kenny fronting the all-star roster, nothing comes as close to putting you in the breadth of the action, making both journeys perfect additions to the Comedy Central phenomenon.

4. Resident Evil 2 & Resident Evil 3

Resident Evil 3 - Official Jill Valentine Story Trailer

Capcom has done us the favor of making two of the best remakes of the last two years just under $10, which are Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3. Good timing, mind you, what with Resident Evil 4 being finalized and prepped for an early 2023 release and what have you. With that in mind, now appears to be the best time to brush up on the second and third revamped editions before taking on the Las Plagas.

Both Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 rekindle the wick with completely reimagined versions of the PlayStation classics, featuring revitalized settings, character models, and overhauled gameplay mechanics. Similar to their originals in regards to the story, and yet leagues apart gameplay-wise, the Capcom double pack strikes hard as an absolute essential purchase for any survival horror fan.

3. Assassin's Creed: Legendary Collection

Assassin’s Creed Rogue: Launch Trailer | Ubisoft [NA]

Assassin's Creed retains its spot as one of the most popular video game franchises of all time, and rightfully so. Thanks to its annual additions to the brotherhood of award-winning action-adventure RPGs, Ubisoft has solidified its place as the go-to studio for all things action-based. A collection that provides some of the best thrills for one lump sum payment is the Legendary Collection, which boasts six of the best games in the library to date.

Assassin's Creed: Legendary Collection comes with Black Flag, Rogue, Syndicate, Unity, Origins, and Odyssey — six essential tales that chronicle some of the major turning points in the feud between the assassins and templars. From Industrial London to the French Revolution, BC to AC — The Legendary Collection boasts hundreds of hours of storytelling and lore. And the best part is, for the next five days, it's $49.99, which is 75% off its original $199.99 tag.

2. Batman: Return to Arkham

Official Batman: Return to Arkham Announce Trailer

Rocksteady Studios' Batman Arkham is a genre-defining beat 'em up saga that meshes open world exploration with thought-provoking puzzles and an all-powerful roster of DC's all-time favorites. Return to Arkham serves as a remastered bundle of the first two games, Arkham Asylum, and Arkham City, which has been fully optimized for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.

DC fan or not, there's no ignoring the countless accolades that the Arkham series has raked in since its inception. And so, if you're looking to delve into one of the noughties' biggest franchises and recapture the highlights of Arkham as the one and only Dark Knight, then be sure to pick up the Return to Arkham bundle for $4.99 this Black Friday.

1. Tiny Tina's Wonderlands: Next-Level Edition

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands – Official Launch Trailer

If you're looking to soak up one of 2022's most chaotic bullet-riddled action RPGs, then Tiny Tina's Wonderlands is an absolute must. Borderlands fan or not, there's no brushing this one under the rug — especially if you enjoy shoveling through D&D-inspired battlefields chock-full of smurf-like creatures and other parodied vermin. Oh, and as far as comedy goes, Gearbox's action-heavy spin-off definitely stacks high with one of the best scripts we've seen in years. So there's that.

Tiny Tina's Wonderlands puts you in the world of Bunkers & Badasses, a fictional tabletop universe that revolves around a feud between the Butt Stallion, a rainbow-colored unicorn, and the Dragon Lord. As The Newbie, you will traverse the semi-open world board and engage in a slew of high-octane battles, quests, and boss encounters. Add the fact that it's also laden with Borderlands' familiar treasure trove of loot, landmarks, and legendary weapons, and you've got a near-perfect all-in-one package. And as it stands, Xbox users can pick it up for just $34.99.

So, what's your take? Will you be picking up any of the above five deals this Black Friday? Let us know over on our socials here or down in the comments below.
