10 Best Weapons in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
One of the main aspects that can make or mar a shooter is the weapon collection. And it's not just guns and rifles, but grenades and throwables too. A well-aimed and well-timed Molotov cocktail can give you an edge and enhance your gameplay.
PUBG or PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is undeniably one of the best-selling battle royale and survival shooters of all time. Needless to say that the game has expanded its weapon collection over years, and continues to do so.
From throwables to sniper rifles, here are the best weapons that you need to bag in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds: Top 10 Weapons that you should pick up
Dominate the map with these weapons!
10. Molotov Cocktail
Let's start with the throwables because they can be nasty game changers.
The Molotov Cocktail can literally set the area on fire. Of course, they are not really meant to cause any direct damage. Rather, you can block a structure, clog passages, or trap someone inside a structure before taking them down.
9. Frag Grenade
If you want to deal damage with grenades, then you can't get better than Frag Grenades. You should pick up these explosives whenever you stumble upon them while looting. For the first half of the game, you won't find them very useful. However, they can save the day when the playfield shrinks or there's a showdown.
When everything else fails to work, the pistol is the savior (well, sometimes). Imagine not getting good loot or running out of rifle ammo. This is where the little pistols save the day. Of course, there's no dearth of pistols in PUBG, but P18C happens to be the best one. Now, a P18C deals the lowest damage, but its speed compensates for it. It has a good magazine capacity, so you don't have to reload. And with the auto-firing mechanism, it's easy to take down the foes.
Now, shotguns don't really have a huge fan base in PUBG, but that doesn't mean we can leave these weapons out. Besides, if you can actually use a shotgun, then you can quickly get rid of an opponent. The S686 shoots two bullets at a time, so there's no chance of that enemy surviving. But if your aim misses, then you're stuck with a slow reload. Pair it with a fast AR or SMG, and you're good to go.
Thankfully, you won't have to chase airdrops for the Vector. The SMG is easy to come by and is one of the fastest of its kind. The recoil is easy to control, so you can easily shoot without worrying about the accuracy too much. However, the magazine capacity of the Vector is low. But you can customize the gun quite a bit with the attachments.
If you're the sniper who doesn't enjoy looting airdrops, then the Kar98K is your best shot. Of course, it is not as powerful as the AWM and doesn't deliver those one-shot-headshots. But for lower level armor, the Kar98K is lethal enough. The only catch is that the sniper rifle is rather slow. So to avoid getting beaten, you have to act fast and be accurate.
If you hide and snipe, then AWM is literally the only thing you need to be the last player standing. The AWM is the best sniper that you can get your hands on. With a single hit, you can take down a foe equipped with a level 3 helmet. With the damage of 100 and decent reload speed, you're pretty much invincible on the battlefield. But, there's a catch – you get the sniper rifle and its bullets only from airdrops.
The only reason why we ranked the M416 higher than the GROZA is because of availability. You can get your hands on a GROZA only through an airdrop. With its high damage and high speed, many PUBG veterans will tell you that it's the best Assault Rifle out there. Of course, it has a few shortcomings – the reload time will test your patience during the action. The recoil and aim might be hard to control, as there's no attachment slot for foregrips.
PUBG has a lot of ARs and picking one is not easy. They all have their perks, so we decided to rank them based on how easily you find them. This is why M416 is your best bet, as you can get it anywhere on the map while looting. The recoil is easy to control and you can get higher accuracy. The damage dealt might seem lower, but the high fire rate compensates for that. It's an overall easy-to-use gun and with all those attachment slots, you can tweak it as you like.
Yeah, we're talking about the famous PUBG pan. It's the best melee weapon you can pick up at the start of the game. In fact, it can come in handy if you run out of ammo and need something to defend yourself. A well-aimed pan on the head can knock out an opponent immediately. That's not all. The pan can take bullets. Use it as a backpack so you don't have to watch your back that often.
Beryl M672, P90, S12K, MG3, and SKS are also some noteworthy weapons that you can try.
