Battlefield 2042’s Grappling Hook Glitch Is Hilarious
Tornadoes are awe-inspiring, but can decorate your surroundings with deleterious effects. It is air and what can be so frightening about air, rapidly rotating? Well, various chemicals can get in it, the atmosphere would likely be colder in a tornado, making it harder to breath, and the average person cannot hold their breath longer than 5 minutes. In fact, the average untrained person can hold their breath for 30 to 120 seconds, before gasping.
Battlefield 2042 (the first-person shooter) features the largest Battlefield maps ever, up to 128 players on PC, and a chance to grapple daunting tornadoes. Tornadoes are so life threatening, you have to run or gravity does its job, but in a video game, there can be alternatives to dealing with what is impossible. Gamers love playing with Specialist MacKay‘s grapple gun, taking advantage of a glitch, which allows them to attach to the weather and smoke. According to CharlieIntel, Reddit user JedJungle attached the grappling hook to a cloud of smoke.
What could be next? Flying sharks in a tornado like the film series, Sharknado? Oh, just replace the sharks with a giant platypus. One user, EKubus, has a video of grappling with an in-game tornado miles away, outside of the map, but died before the item was done winding up. The chaos-inducing feature of the tornadoes can fling players and vehicles across the map, virtually destroying everything.
There were a variety of issues with Battlefield 2042 ever since it was released on November 19, 2021. Several major updates for Battlefield 2042 are due next month. Just do not spend time playing a video game about a tornado while an actual tornado is in your backyard. Battlefield 2042 will hopefully make you respect underpaid Storm Chasers, risking their lives, just to capture engrossing footage. Battlefield 2042 is available for the following platforms: PS4 (PlayStation 4), PS5 (PlayStation 5), Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
