Bandai Namco Announce Blue Protocol, Release Window and Reveal Trailer

Blue Protocol

Bandai Namco and Amazon Games first announced Blue Protocol back in 2019. However, since that announcement, barely any news of the game has been shared with fans. Well, the silence was finally broken at The Game Awards 2022. Announced by Sokichi Shimooka, Blue Protocol is an anime MMORPG that will be released globally in the second half of 2023 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

“In the earliest days, we imagined a project that take players on a heroic journey, through a planet teetering on the brink of destruction after millennia of conflict and technology overuse. A Journey in which we transcend space and time, unlock our memories, defeat powerful foes, and alter the destructive future that threatens all mankind.” says, Sokichi Shimooka.

“We want to invite you to experience a new Multiplayer Online Action RPG where players become the hero of their very own sci-fi fantasy adventure,”

Players will explore the world of Regnas, utilizing one of the five classes: the Blade Warden, the Twin Striker, the Keen Strider, the Spell Weaver, and the Foe Breaker. Blue Protocol will have a closed beta test for PC in early 2023. Then it will release as a free-to-play in the second half of 2023. You can catch its first reveal trailer from The Game Awards 2022, just below.
