Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Could Release This November

Of all the games that are supposed to release this year, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is the one we're most skeptical about. Our skepticism stems from the fact that Ubisoft, in spite of it giving the game the all clear, has yet to announce an official release date for it.

That all being said, a certain industry insider has reiterated the fact that the game is still set to release in 2022. The insider in question is Tom Henderson, a reputable source who has reported some pretty concrete data in the past. According to Henderson, Ubisoft will release Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora on November 18, 2022 on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, PC, and Google Stadia.

Of course, there are still a number of reasons to wager a skeptical heart, as Ubisoft has yet to confirm the release date at all. If, however, it turns out to be legit, then the devs will have a lot of marketing to get under its belt. At the moment, there are hardly any details on it, and its gameplay footage is practically non-existent. So, if it were to launch this November, then details would need to drop soon. Like, yesterday.

“Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora brings to life the alluring world of Pandora with all of its beauty and danger in an immersive, open-world experience,” the official blurb reads. “In this new, standalone story, play as a Na'vi and embark on a journey across the Western Frontier, a never-before-seen part of Pandora. Explore a living and reactive world inhabited by unique creatures and new characters, and push back the formidable RDA forces that threaten it.”
