No launch or update is without issues and Assassin's Creed Valhalla is no exception. Valhalla players were hyped as the game was gearing up for its biggest expansion – Dawn of Ragnarok. As always, big updates mean big changes, new ways to play, a new storyline, and much more. The huge 15GB update promised a lot of content, and it managed to deliver with some minor inconveniences.

As soon as Dawn of Ragnarok came out, players were quick to praise its stunning visuals and graphics. Many felt that the plot was rather short, but it was tight and intense, which made up for the shortness.

One of the biggest issues that several players faced was that the game kept crashing or freezing across all the platforms. After downloading the expansion, some players couldn't load it at all. For some, the screen freezes randomly and a few others could not save the game.

To discuss the issues, Valhalla players took to Reddit and posted about them. Here's a peek at a few Reddit threads:

Hey y’all, i’m stuck on this screen and it won’t load at all. I played yesterday morning just fine but when i tried later in the day it just got stuck there, any advice ? from ACValhalla

Apart from this, there were a few instances when the game glitched and some enemies were simply invincible. Some players also had problems with saving the game. In any case, Ubisoft‘s developers will, of course, resolve all the bugs and glitches as soon as possible.

Quick question from ACValhalla

The game releases have a rather tight schedule and most studios stick to it. Sometimes, it results in games being launched with a few errors here and there. For instance, Cyberpunk 2077 was rushed and released in an almost broken state.

Many of the modern game launches are rushed, which results in bugs and glitches. However, the developers are usually quick to respond and the corrective patches are released right after.
