Among Us to Feature Ghostface from Scream

Among Us was released in 2018 but it was only in 2020 that the game became a massive hit and gained an enormous following. Since then. the developers have been rolling out interesting updates to keep players hooked.

In an upcoming update, Scream's mascot Ghostface is all set to make an entry into the popular social exclusion game. The antagonist from the classic slasher movie will be a playable skin. Players can step into Ghostface's shoes and play the game as usual.

A trailer promoting the new Ghostface skin in the game was uploaded by Paramount movies on their official YouTube channel. The video starts with Ghostface asking the viewer, “Would you like to play a game?”

The iconic villain then jumps into the game and gives us a peek of the new skin. Ghostface then becomes the imposter and kills when nobody is looking. Towards the end, you see the text “Ghostface was ejected” flashing on the screen.

In all the Scream movies, Ghostface is shown in a black costumes. But you can dress the villain's video game counterpart in other colors. Players can choose from red, pink, blue, and more colors for their Ghostface skin.

Over the years, Scream's popularity has only surged and today, it is one of the best slasher movies in the world. The movie often gets listed with the likes of Nightmare on the Elm Street and Friday the 13th.

If you think about it, Scream and Among Us have a lot in common. Both of them involve investigating murders and looking for the real killer. Considering that the movie will be available in Blu-ray on April 5th, it was a smart move on their part to collaborate with the video game. Now we hope that more thriller movies make a promotional entry to Among Us in the future.
