1) Honor of Kings

Developed by the TiMi Studio Group (a subsidiary of Tencent Group), Honor of Kings is a multiplayer game. According to reports, it earned the highest overall revenue among mobile games worldwide in 2022. Gaming veterans will immediately spot similarities between League of Legends and Honor of Kings.

Honor of Kings involves controlling a character to kill enemies and collect resources like experience and gold. In addition, players upgrade characters with the help of the XP collected.

Players can choose from many game modes, which include 5v5, 3v3, 1v1, and more in different settings. One of the game’s unique features is that killing the enemies includes different types of damage – physical critical, magical, and real.

2) PUBG Mobile

Developed by Tencent, PUBG Mobile has been ruling the battle royale domain for quite some time. The game has earned the highest revenue from the App store and has the highest overall earning after, next to Honor of Kings. A huge portion of its revenue is generated from China, localized with the name ‘Game For Peace.’ 

PUBG Mobile features a battle royale experience where the players are dropped on an island where they are supposed to collect loot, kill opponents and win the game as the lone survivor.

What makes the game stand out is its inclusive gameplay. Players get readily involved with the game, playing aside other players in a team. Moreover, there are different in-game purchase options that a huge portion of the players.  

In the latest PUBG Mobile update, the battle royale game has collaborated with the Korean band BLACKPINK. The special track ‘Ready for Love' is live.

3) Coin Master

Developed by the Israeli studio Moon Active, Coin Master is a free-to-play single-player casual game. Coin Master has earned the highest revenue in the Google Play Store, with over a hundred million downloads.

The main objective of this game is to win coins and upgrade items to build villages. Although the game comes under the ‘adventure game’ category in the App Store, it uses gambling mechanics.

To build your village or even attack others, you need coins, for which you need to use the slot machine. The spinning can be done seven times an hour, with the option to purchase more spins for real money. The slot machine mechanic makes the game addictive for players.

4) Candy Crush Saga

Developed by King, Candy Crush Saga is one of the most successful puzzle-and-casual games to date. Since its release in 2012, the match-three game has held a position in top-grossing games for years.
