5 Best Roblox Games (October 2022)

Published

 on

Roblox is in receipt of some of the best multiplayer communities in gaming, which is precisely why its countless curators are forever drawing up new concepts to bring to the table. And at the time of writing, the Roblox chain hosts upwards of a thousand-plus unique experiences, many of which boast millions of concurrent players and hours of livestream content. The question, though, isn't with how many Roblox games there are — but how many of them are actually worth spending time with. And to reveal that sort of answer, we're going to need to break down an entire nexus of content.

The good news is, Roblox has a number of fantastic role-playing games to onboard, which is arguably the bread and butter category that sits beneath the flagship. And if that's the sort of thing you're into, then luck is most definitely on your side this month. Let it be said that, if you're gearing up for a new thread of Roblox games this October, then these five should definitely make your to-do list.

5. Adopt Me!

ADOPT ME! Official Game Trailer 🐾

Even several years after its initial release, Adopt Me! continues to hold its place as one of the most popular games on the Roblox platform. Although aimed towards a younger player base, the loveable gacha-based RPG has begun to broaden its target demographic, which has resulted in the vast majority of Roblox players finding a new home deep within its roots.

Adopt Me! lets you collect pets, equip them with unlockable cosmetics, and generally cater to their every need as a loving and fully attentive parent. With weekly updates and regular exclusive giveaways and time-limited events to boot, the all-in-one parent-pet simulator strives to be the best of its kind. Providing you can look past the minor microtransactions that line its in-game shelves, Adopt Me! is a perfect time killer, and perhaps one of the most addictive games on the Roblox roster, period.

4. Murder Mystery 2

Roblox Murder Mystery 2 Trailer....

It isn't very often you'd associate Roblox with the world of horror. That said, the few games that it does bring to the table are generally well received, and quite frankly on par with some of the triple-A releases that make up the modern market. Murder Mystery 2, for example, is a game that envelopes a unique blend of intensity and atmosphere. And as far as compelling multiplayer games go, it is arguably one of the best on the block.

Murder Mystery 2 pits you against eleven other players in a cops-and-robbers case scenario. In each round, a random player is assigned the role of murderer, and the remainder either sheriffs or civilians. The killer's goal is to take down the eleven other players without getting caught, whereas the civies are instructed to uncover the perpetrator's true identity before meeting a gruesome end. Think Among Us, but with a few more blocks to boot.

3. Welcome to Bloxburg

Welcome to Bloxburg - Roblox Trailer Remake

Welcome to Bloxburg is a life simulation game that gives players the opportunity to establish a brand new life from the borders of Bloxburg, an ever-evolving town that harbors countless events, cliques, and activities. As members of the thriving community, you will have to play your part and become a key player on the monopoly. How you contribute to the booming virtual empire, on the other hand, is entirely up to you.

Welcome to Bloxburg gives you the keys to a world of creativity and innovation. As fresh-faced townsfolk, you can build homes, make friends, and even climb a variety of career ladders as you establish a name for yourself amongst the people of Bloxburg. Think of it as being a watered-down version of The Sims, only with a generous selection of blocky pets and cubed cars to boot. That's Bloxburg, and it's a jolly good time if you're seriously into your RP servers.

2. Blox Fruits

UPDATE 17 PART 3 FINAL TRAILER | Blox Fruits

It's no secret that Roblox fosters a very close-knit community of action role-playing fans, which explains why there's an abundance of such games stocked in its library. But of all the games it does host on its sleeve, Blox Fruits is perhaps one of the better titles. And it has also proved itself worthy of outlasting the vast majority of its competitors, too, what with it being one of the longest serving servers on the platform.

Blox Fruits is an action-packed game in which you, the budding combatant, must acquire weapons, fruits, and techniques in order to get your foot on the PvP ladder. With unlimited room for your character to develop and prosper, and a slew of updates being bundled in on a weekly basis, Blox Fruits stands tall as one of the most popular and influential RP servers on the market.

1. Anime Fighting Simulator

For those who enjoy binging episodes on Crunchyroll on a daily basis, Anime Fighting Simulator is a real home away from home, and also perhaps one of the best anime games on the Roblox network, period. And, unlike other fighting games on the platform, it also hosts a story mode, along with a cascade of seasonal events and themed seasons.

Anime Fighting Simulator brings the high-octane combat of anime to a fresh and invigorating open world platform. As highly skilled warriors, you must engage in one-on-one combat with a variety of weapons and tools of your own. Character development here is, of course, the key to conquering the board, and thanks to the game's ever-evolving world, you'll find that there are plenty of avenues to venture down as you forge a legacy of your own.
